I have been to several hotels in Kenya and enjoyed their comfort. Three hotels that I can identify are Laico Regency, Safari Park Hotel and Serena hotels. If I were a hotel rater, I would classify Laico regency using classification by function, in commercial category. It is located next to the city centre. It offers services to businesspersons who want easy and fast access to the major businesses in the area. They operate throughout the day and night and offer transport to and from airport. This makes it ideal for a person with activities within the city. I would rate Safari Park hotel using the same classification, in category of convention hotels. It offers conference centers and function space for many events such as weddings and institution organized events. I would also put it as a casino hotel. It has a casino that attracts many gamers. Serena hotel would be classified in many ways since it has branches in several places. Using market classification, I would classify those in tourist attractive sites as resort hotels. They provide many social amenities for people to relax in recreational facilities such as games for children and swimming pools.

Suleimani, 24, is an international athlete in 800 meters race from United States in his career as an athlete he has won several prizes. He is internationally popular for his stamina on the track. Other than being a runner, he enjoys swimming and music. He is also a businessperson with several businesses around the world. This compels him to travel all over the world regularly. One of his businesses is a cloth line branded Super Ware X. It has been launched in various countries around the world in countries he has run. Currently, he developed an interest in Kenya because of its athletes who are his opponents. He is interested in training on Kenyan tracks and has scheduled a launch of his cloth line in Kenya. The schedule of the launch is near and he is preparing to visit Kenya in two days. He prefers having a training facility near him for purposes of training in the morning when it is most conducive. This makes him very particular about where to lodge for convenience purposes. For this reasons, he prefers lodging the nearest to the facilities, and one with his preferences.

American hotel and lodging association serves several types of customers using specifications to each particular type of customer. One type of business is identified as apartment hotel. These hotels provide apartments for hire to customers. This is ideal for families that are on vacation and want to have privacy and. They can stay in the apartment freely like in a rented house. Another type of business designed to serve different types of customers is, Bed and Breakfast services. The common customers to this service are business people. It is convenient for them since they leave for their businesses in the morning and would return in the evening. It is also preferred by motorists who leave the next morning if they cannot access a motel. The other kind of lodging facility business is the motels. Motels as generally known are usually located on the roads to serve motorists who travel long distances and need resting. Such a business will have a gas station and a garage. It also provides food services to its customers. These are the three main business types. Travelers can be classified as business, vocational, and international depending on their purpose of traveling. This is according to American Hotel and Lodging Association.
