            The socially responsible ideas practiced by some of the organizations detailed in the responsibility revolution are socially and environmentally ideas intended to not only compete but also win on values within an organization. These ideas points out the way innovators and influencers can generate trust through becoming transparent, creative and turn customers into associates thus reinventing business. They require companies to build socially and environmentally sound products that can lead to sustainability. The corporate social responsibility requires all the organizations to adopt better responsibilities by all suppliers, customers, stakeholders, employees and environmental groups. They expect organizations to be efficient, profitable but comply with the regulations set down including employee laws, environmental laws, consumer and product laws. The social responsibilities concern on the issues such as environmental, global and technological problems. Thus, their aim is to address on this issues in order to create an innovative environment, which meets the present and future needs of the customers.

Coca-Cola Company originated as a fountain beverage in 1886 but the bottling system developed into the coca-cola branding in 1894. It was started by Joseph A. Biedenharn who opened the stores in Mississippi and Vicksburg. It is carbonated soft drinks, which are sold more than 200 states, and it has a trademark simply referred as Coke. It produces concentrates that are sold to license coca-cola bottlers globally. The mission of this company is to serve as the standards against which they weigh their actions and decisions. Their vision guides every feature of their business through describing what they need to achieve in order to continue attaining sustainable development. The goals of the company include investing more money in research, innovative with natural sweetness that lowers possible calories in every serving. In addition, they strive to maintain low and no-calorie options to solve obesity cases and they continue to produce products equipped with extra nutrients to meet the needs of customers.

The primary stakeholders of the Coca-Cola Company are directly linked with the suppliers or customers in the business. They include investors, business owners, creditors, suppliers, stockholders, and anyone who have anything to lose in this company. However, the secondary stakeholders do not participate directly in the business but the company continues to operate without them. They include everybody who keeps the company operating such as the government, employees and the community.

From the analysis of coca cola’s performance in meeting its corporate responsibilities, the economic, legal, ethical and philanthropic expectations places this company at a point of being accepted in the society. The company has social responsibilities that the society expects from them hence it has led to continuous and better performance. It has maintained economic responsibility through manufacturing products that the society wants and sells them at fair prices. It has set legal responsibilities that enable it to operate well in order to meet the required standards. They comply with these laws thus achieving ethical responsibilities, which includes values, norms and expectations reflecting what primary and secondary stakeholders’ want. The philanthropic responsibilities of this company in literally sense reflect the current business expectations of the consumers (Hollender and Bill 147). The company’s nature of activities aims to provide voluntarily social services that are ethically accepted.  The public will expect the company to provide services that will suit one of the social contract between the society and the public. These philanthropic responsibilities enable the company to do well and even become socially accepted in the society.

The coca cola company and seventh Generation both places an emphasis on accountability, transparency and employee engagement for improving sustainability. The coca-cola company is responsible with the activities they carry out in order to maintain their customers and achieve sustainability. They comply with laws and their services are directed towards customer satisfaction. They both manufacture products with a deep-green culture in order to meet the present and future needs of their customers. By contrast, this companies view innovative ideas and adjust operations in order to perform better thus attaining environmental responsibilities. They employ mechanisms that are responsible to ensure good behaviors are attained in the company thus, they train and hire employees who are well equipped with knowledge about environmental conservation (Hollender and Bill 220).

            The socially responsible activities of Coca Cola Company make the world a better place because they are concerned with the social environment. They consider the impact that may result in social environment thus becomes responsible for the effects of their actions. Coca-cola Company is committed to ensure that despite innovativeness, they manufacture products that meet the needs of their customers and does not cause harmful to their consumers. They recycle their products in order to reduce overexploitation of resources and ensure that the society is satisfied with their products. For instance, packaging techniques of the company though differentiating products from that of the competitors are unique. This makes the company to be socially accepted in global marketplaces. Although, this company has not yet fully developed because it talks about going green but it has not fully achieved environmental sustainability. Attaining sustainability is not easy in the business world because as the companies tries to bring innovative ideas, they end up causing other negative impacts on the environment.
